Here’s how our office works to make our relationship as smooth as possible. After all, stress management is part of wellness. This also allows us to keep our rates as affordable as we can.
Text Messaging
Text messages are not HIPPA compliant. Please do not send text messages. Text messages will not be answered.
Insurance and Receipts
Our already discounted cash pricing does not include our involvement in billing insurance and/or medical sharing programs. We DO NOT provide Superbills. If you require our involvement with more detailed information than we already provide such as more detailed receipts, codes or any other completed paperwork per your insurance or medical sharing program there is an additional charge for our time in helping you recoup your costs. Thank you for allowing us to keep our prices for visits affordable.
Visits and Rescheduling
All visits are scheduled directly on our website through our scheduling app. Rescheduling your visit is done through your appointment confirmation email or through your patient portal account.
All follow up visits are essential no matter what you have accomplished. No test results are discussed in the follow up appointments.
Here’s how: Open the email, click on view details, and click reschedule. A reminder YOU initiate the phone call for phone visits. If we are running over (which we make an effort to avoid) and you hear our voicemail we will call you back as soon as we finish.
In order to keep our rates affordable we have a strict policy on scheduling changes. There will be an automatic charge for the entire appointment if you miss the appointment, or if you cancel or reschedule on the same day. When you schedule an appointment with Laura and/or with her staff, you reserve our time.
IV Therapies
Open to the public age 16 and over. IV Therapies are available for many issues such as wellness, immunity, detox, weight loss, anti-aging, anxiety, asthma, dementia, high BP and more. Please call the office or put into the booking message the type of IV. We require payment for booking our time, so please understand that if you do not adhere to our cancellation policy and you are not an existing patient with a card on file, you will need to prepay future appointments.time.
Supplement Info
Supplement education and info sheets are current as long as there are no changes in your health. Changes in your health including your own progress, significant weight gain (or loss) in adults and children, or medication such as antibiotics or surgery need a follow up to determine appropriate changes to supplements.
Ordering Product/Pricing Requests
All refill orders should be placed through our website or the free Kopec Functional Wellness phone app.
If you do not see your product online, use the search field first and if you still cannot find it, please email info@kopecfunctionalwellness.com for additional information.
Messages/Emails
You should only send a message through your client portal account if the message is relevant to your most recent health or your child’s health appointment. The conversational message center inside the patient portal incurs a time based fees similar to appointments.
Do not place a supplement order inside the conversation center. You will be charged for our time.
Additional Charges
Any service provided outside of
appointments including, but not limited to, claims with an insurance company, flex spending, health savings or medishare additional paperwork, prescription refills outside of appointments or other forms, phone calls or emails required for any reason may incur an additional charge for our time per our judgement.
